We flew back to Logan and we were able to see these two for a while. Soon they will go their separate ways.

The pool was inviting today.  Headed back to our room we found these guys. It has been a while since we had to walk on the tarmac to get on a plane. People waiting on the beach to get hit by our jet engine exhaust. Crazy!  Our last view of the resort and the island. The red arrow points to the resort.  We have one more day at the resort. Out to the beach for another day relaxing.  These guys walk right under your recliner if you let them. Not really scared of anyone.   The sunset was pretty.  We found some lounges on the private beach and relaxed. The iguanas were back. Pictures do not show how large they are. The longer of the two is over 5 feet long.  There are several super yacht just off shore. Most have a helicopter landing pad. They are worth more than a half billion each.  This little yacht photo bombed my picture. So sad, it is too small to have a helicopter pad. LOL!  Shawna found a local beer and a wine she could try.   Another nice sunset.  Our plan is to stay at the resort almost the entire time we are here. The weather is really nice. There were two iguanas roaming the beach. Definitely not afraid of people. The resort is very nice and our sunset today was pretty.   Dec 1-5 Sint Maarten Vacation Flamingo Beach Resort Leon got up early to drive us to the airport for our flight. Sint Maarten is the island with an airport that lands almost on the beach. People will stand on the beach directly under airplanes landing. That is crazy and dangerous.   No we will not be doing that.
By the time we got checked in, it was late and we headed down to the hotel cafe for something to eat. |
