First full day of the Escapees Solar Eclipse event.

​Arrived Saturday with a lot of help getting to our area.  We are staying in the Solar only section. No generators used except under special approval.  Several days of rain are predicted this week.

​The event has several parking areas.  We are in the Escapees Solar section where generators are not allowed.  There is also an Escapees generator section, both solar and generator use Escapers sections, a power hookup section, and a families section.

I know at first glance it does not look like well over 150 RV's but if you zoom in and count you will find there are that many in attendance and more came in after this photo was taken.

The back in to our site did not quite go as planned.  Each site is about 20 feet wide but they wanted each RV to be to one side of each site to leave as much room as possible for the RVer to use.  I must have pulled up and back a dozen times before it was "right".

We met our neighbors and they were great.  One side Giselle and Bill from California in a small trailer and the other side Rich and Susan in a class A also from Florida.

Tonight, we all got together at the stage trailer for introductions and information.
