Each includes Water and 50 amp electric, plus a free dump. To be clear the highway is on one side of the RV park and on the other is the airport. The highway is fairly quiet from 9pm to 6am and very few if any airplanes take off or land and even those were very small prop planes.

$35 per day Full hookup. Paved roads and concrete sites.  Perfectly level. Very well kept grounds. Great Cell service. No cable. WiFi only at the service center building and no WiFi out in the camping area even though listed in the Camping World Site.

Price $33 per day because we paid for a week. Nice but older park.  Very well maintained.  Good WiFi, Pool, and as with the last place we have a creek right out our back windows.  Very nice view.

Price $38 per night Good Sams Discount. Full hookups. Paved roads with gravel sites.  Lots of shade. Very convenient to Lookout mountain.

Price $22 per night Good Sams discount. Full hookup 50 amp. Good WiFi. Even cell service. Very close to both Little River State park and Desoto State park.

2016 July 25-27 Noccalula State Park - 1500 Noccalula Rd, Gadsden Alabama 35904 LINK
Price $18 plus tax per night with a Good Sam discount. Great very inexpensive park.  Older but well maintained.  Full hookups including cable TV and WiFi. Several hiking trails and the falls (if there is water in the creek).

2016 July 21-24 Cheaha State Park - 2141 Bunker Loop, Delta, Alabama 36258 LINK
Good state park on the highest point in Alabama.  Some sites not very level but full hookup.  No Cell or WiFi.  Cell only if you drive to the CCC Tower or Restaurant parking lot.

Price $32 per night. Good park just off I65.  Gravel sites, No trees, Full hookups minus cable TV but does have WiFi.

2016 June 17 Camping for Christ - Wolf log Rd County Rd 6 Flomaton Ala (no web site) very small private park and the owner must be contacted to reserve a spot.  No onsite management.
We are back again for a month.  Park is as it has been in the past.  Very nice. Well maintained.
New cell tower near by helps and now our hot spot works.  It's down in a valley along a creek so almost no TV access only Satellite.

2013 Sept-2016 June, Avalon Landing RV Park - 2444 Avalon Blvd. Milton, FL 32583 LINK 
Great RV park. Easy access from I-10 but not right on the interstate like some parks. Very clean, well maintained, and on a small bayou. Prices from $39 per night.  Sites that support big rigs.  This was our long term park when we first started full-timing.  It was convenient to work during the last years before retiring.

2016 May 16-20 ​Fort Pickens part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore - 1400 Fort Pickens Rd, Gulf Breeze, FL 32561 LINK
Camping within a short walk to the Gulf of Mexico.  The beaches here are "sugar white" sand.  Not the din of activity of the big tourist spots.  Lots of RV campsites with some supporting long rigs.  Power and water but no sewer at site but two dump stations available.  Well maintained bath/restrooms. On the island south of Pensacola Florida. ​(30.324 -87.275)
Preferred sites:  A3, A5, A11. A16, A20, A23, A27, A30, C46, E20, E35 (we have stayed here before)

2014 July 25 Florida Springs RV Resort
Price from $38 per night.  Just to be clear this was not a very good park.  Very old and needs a lot of upgrades.
The name is a bit deceptive.  Skip it and go to Falling Waters State Park just 11 miles down the road. 

2014 July 21-24 St. George State Park
Prices from $24.00 Per Night, $168.00 Per Week.  Very secluded.  The park is very Old Florida which means dunes, stars (its really dark at night),...  It was great.  And of course great beaches.

2014 July 19-20 Florida Caverns State Park
Prices from $20.00 Per Night, $140.00 Per Week.  The park is for the most part a rain forest.  Great hiking trails through the largest cypress trees you have ever seen and Blue Hole spring that flows out thousands of gallons of pure water from a vent 35 feet down.
The cave tour is $8.00 for adults.  It may be a very small cavern but it is great. Definitely worth going a little out of the way to see.

Prices from $37 per night. Old not well maintained KOA. Will not stay here again unless absolutely necessary.

Prices from $40 per night.  Just over night stay.  Very nice place. Primarily for permanent residents but really well maintained with many sites set aside for short term stays. Adults only park. A true RV resort with high standards of upkeep and amenities.
