My knee is much better and still healing. The problem with these types of injuries is that as it heals the fluid leaks out into the surrounding area. This causes a good bit of pain from the reaction to it.

My leg is doing much better but still not completely healed. We got a lot more work done on the back porch at the Lakehouse. After the tear down of old wood we put in blocks and more structural wood to support the porch. The wood is sealed and should last about the same amount of time as the original porch which was over 40 years.
I must be getting older. After only three days working on my knees I had a problem with the bursa of my right leg. I woke up with it blow up and that put a real limit on work for a week. Getting old is not for wimps.
There were several things that we needed to repair or demolish at the lake house. One was the "soft spot" in front of the AC unit in the laundry room. From what we can tell water was coming from the old AC unit and getting the floor wet. This eventually caused the subfloor to breakdown. Once the flooring was removed, the subfloor was very easy to remove. It practically fell apart in my hands. Scarry! After removing the old floorboard, we needed to add boards to support the plywood and flooring. We also took up the floor of the back porch. The plywood was starting to break down and some had already fallen through. Two of the support beams need replacing because of rot as well. Our next trip to the "city" will include a wood shopping trip. The repair will include new railing, flooring, sun shade, and overhead light. The big project is removing the old shed from the backyard. It has started to rot at the bottom of the supports. The plan is to remove the old shed and vent pipe that is no longer used. We will continue with renovations and improvements to the backyard. Trees were trimmed by the front of the park (B1 and the lakehouse). The limbs had grown out into the road for row A and some other limbs were low enough that it was difficult to mow under them. This was a job that was hired out. It really looks nice. Monday we have a trip Clovis to get wood, flooring, and other supplies. We will then have what we need to finish up the back porch at the lake house. Next, we will start on the flooring changes and repairs in both houses.
We had a pretty sunset tonight so we walked down to the State Park to get some pictures. Deer came by the RV on the way to eat the apples from the tree right outside our window. We were asleep so we missed them but the tracks were pretty big.
Betty had a little poisonous visitor in the kitchen. We don't know how they get in the house or to the sink but it is always best to look carefully before putting your hands in.
It seems that the best way to get rid of a scorpion is the garbage disposal. This is even easier if it is already in that side of the sink.
Wind, lightning, and bands of rain moved over us over the last two days. I think we got only a .61 inch of rain total at the house but here that is considered a good rain. There were lighting strikes and cloud to cloud lightning. Some areas nearby got hail. We were happy that it was not here. The RV and vehicles are under cover for protection but even then hail can be damaging.
Kelly's boys decided to go fishing so the rest of us took the pontoon boat out on the lake.
We took a ride up to the dam on Ute Lake then tossed out the float for some fun.
Shawna, Kelly, and Rachel enjoyed being pulled behind the pontoon boat.
We had a great time visiting and playing games with everyone but tomorrow only Kelly will remain. The rest are returning to their homes.
