It has been a while since we had been to Pensacola Beach. I just really needed to walk in the sugar sand and get my feet wet in the surf. A beach boy at heart. We found long lines of sea shells. Some of the tiniest perfect ones we have ever seen. It was a great trip with perfect weather. After our time on the beach we stopped off at Red Fish Blue Fish for lunch. Every time we have been there the food was fantastic.

We are back in Pensacola.
We are getting together a list of some things to do here. There are Doctors appointments and checkups but a lot to time will be spent visiting with family and meeting with friends. I would love to go out to the beach before it gets cold. One thing many don't know about Pensacola is how many events occur every month. This is the most active community we have ever visited. Every weekend and almost every weekday there are Arts, Music, Plays, and Festivals. The majority are free to attend. We stayed in some very nice parks through Mississippi and Alabama but we are now back in Escambia county. Time to visit with family and friends.
Lake stone is a county rv park and is a great stop for us. The park is quiet and on a very pretty lake. Misty fog rolls across the water in the mornings. Many days the lake is a mirror of the sky and forest. Wow was this a fun park. The pull through sites are directly on the river. Boats pass so close you can wave 'Hi" to those on board. The river is busy so were able to watch both barges with tugs going up and down but also pleasure craft making the great loop headed for warmer waters.
