We have been relaxing and working at the lake. For Thanksgiving, we visited with family and played cards. The weather has been cool (COLD). It has been in the teens at night and has only warmed to above freezing in the last few nights. We have seen deer in the park several days. They seem to be looking for grass and plants to nibble on but are not afraid of people. It seems that they know where they are safe. Is this the case of "If I can't see you. You can't see me."? She stood there for over a minute.

The Annex is our favorite place to eat in town. It better be since the only other choices are a little diner and Subway. It has a hometown atmosphere.
We have been on a 40 year Honeymoon. These are some of our secrets of a long marriage. (in no particular order) Get to know the person before marriage so you will not be surprised how they react when angry, exhausted, ... Everyone wears a mask when dating and it is best to see below it before walking down the aisle. If you really want to know who a person is take them on a very long hike in hot humid weather. Nothing melts a mask like being uncomfortable along with exhaustion. Marriage, like any relationship, needs work, forgiveness, and understanding. We remember that we are not perfect and never will be but love each others flaws too. People change and it is best when a couple changes together. Give 100% to the other with no expectations. If you both do this you will never feel unloved. Everyday: Say "I love you".
Kiss passionately. Make love frequently. Speak words of love and affection to each other. We have arrived in Logan and will be at the lake to enjoy Thanksgiving.
Today we visited the Grand Canyon! WOW! The size and colors along the walls of the canyon was amazing.
It was a pretty chilly day but it did warm as the day progressed.
On our way out of the park, we noticed a group of Elk were eating near the road.
We will be returning when we have more time and hike in the canyon.
Today we moved from Parker Dam AZ with low temperatures just under 50 and Highs in the 70s. We are in Williams, AZ and our low tonight will be in the 20 and the High for tomorrow will be 57. We also climbed over 6,000 feet in elevation. That is a huge difference and we will feel it.
The RV park is very nice and best of all across the street is the Grand Canyon Brewery and Distillery. Yes, we did go over and see what they had to offer and have a really nice pizza. We have really enjoyed our time here at the river. The time with Bill and Kelly has been great! The highs have been in the 70's and lows in upper 40's. Here are a few pictures of the area and campground. Tonight we were visited by wild Burros! All over the place there are warnings that Burros may be on the roads and in the RV parks. This evening we had two walk up. Both were males. One older and much more friendly. The other younger and a bit skittish. They had a very good understanding about our part in the visit - to feed them something.
We took our screen tent down to the riverbank. It made a perfect place to relax and play cards. The tents is great. The people across the river have no idea they are being observed. Then we noticed one person was looking back with their own binoculars. It was a very nice day.
