On our way down to Mouse Mountain for a month there. We have been looking forward to our 2020 Disney trip.
Christmas was great and we were able to spend time with family. First stop will be Triple C's near Chattahoochee then on to Old Town Florida to an RV park on the Suwannee river.

This last month we have been staying at the Creekside Family RV park near Flomaton, Alabama. We have really enjoyed the quiet and being able to visit with Julie and Matt and the grandchildren.
Today, we move down to Pensacola.  After a "fun" doctor visit early in the morning, we took off to the beach. We both wanted to see the beach. It was requested by Shawna for her birthday. A bit late but this was the first good weather day around her birthday.  We drove onto the island heading to Gulf Islands National Seashore and then on to Fort Pickens. After parking in at the northwest corner of the sea wall, we walked around the point.  On our walk to the point, we noticed a school of fish and a few birds. Close to shore the fish were tiny. The school off shore was comprised of larger fish. On the sand we could see hundreds of tiny clear fish.    The beach was beautiful and the sand was sugar white as always. We found many shells and even a small horseshoe crab.  Next stop was for a late lunch at Red Fish Blue Fish. We love this restaurant. For dessert we stopped for some ice cream at the local shop.. It was a really great day at the beach.  We have been visiting with family. Enjoying the peace and quiet at the RV park. Part of our fun here has been playing with grandchildren, a few campfires and walks along the creek.  Wood is ready for more fires.  |
