Back to Hollywood Studios for the closing shows.

We started our visit back to Hollywood Studios later in the afternoon.  The plan is to stay to the closing fireworks.

Last year the plan was to ride every ride and see every show.  Well we had missed one.  The Disney Junior - Live on Stage!.  Yes the intended audience was for preschoolers but every adult enjoyed the reactions of the children to the show.  It was very interactive with singing, waving, dancing, "snow", bubbles, and large disk confetti but at least one little girl thought she should go hug the characters.  Her parent was just barely able to stop her before she got to the stage.

After that we had dinner in the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. It is a fun place to eat and had been about 25 years since the last time we had eaten there. Basically the restaurant recreates a 50's era drive in theater with the "cars" being modified to serve as tables.

Later we were able to see the Fantasmic show. Just the two of us and a few thousand new friends.  During the wait for the show to start the audience sang to songs and did the wave over and over and over ...  Fantasmic was as we remembered it. Great!

Then we moved to the center of the park and a Movie tribute projected on  the Chinese theater. Lots of movie scenes from much of Disney's history of film was shown.

Finally we watched the Star Wars fireworks show.  It was  a great evening. ​​​
