Well first the bad news. The picture I posted previously was my best eclipse picture. The gopro video did not turn out to be good enough to post. So, I am disappointed. Still it was incredible.
On the way back from the eclipse the traffic was so bad we stopped for dinner to take a break at the Terry Bison Ranch. The ranch is 27,000 acres. Yes, that is HUGE! It's so big that they have their own train to show people around. Of course they have a herd of bison, cattle, sheep, and some camels. The ranch was visited by President Roosevelt several times. Pretty neat. The ranch has a restaurant. We had burgers. One of us was a bit more adventurous and had a buffalo burger. You guess which one. Pam and David were great and have a wonderful home. We really appreciated their hospitality. Loved our visit to Denver. We definitely plan to come back to Colorado and spend at least a month camping and hiking around the state.
