I have been not driven or even been anywhere since we arrived at Gramma's on the 23rd of last month. That is 18 days. It was a bit strange cranking the truck after that long.
We were running short of groceries. This is a town of less than 1,000 people and even here they have limits in the stores. No one in this county has been reported as having the Virus. In the post office, only one person was allowed in at a time and at the counter they had a plexiglass shield hanging to protect the worker/customers. The grocery store had a limit of 10 people at a time. As you walk in, they had a card with a number. Before you leave the store, they take the card, clean it and then give it to the next person waiting to shop. Shawna was able to find most of the things on our list, but not toilet paper. In fact most paper products were missing entirely. Eggs were $6.25 for 18 egg package and even then there were only two cartons in the store. Plenty of can goods and produce. People are all nervous hoping whoever walks in does not have the virus. Everything is a bit strange but we are making the best of what we have.
