Going to downtown Las Vegas.

We visited downtown Vegas.  WOW!  Gaudy does not even come close.

The water show at the Bellagio was great. They started every 15 minutes so we were able to watch 3 shows.

What surprised us?  The game area of the Casinos are boring.  No, I am not kidding.  We walked through a couple and it was just a bunch of screens mounted in fancy boxes with lots of lights and tables with people playing cards.

We did find some interesting sculptures.

We did pass some very VERY expensive restaurants.  The Ribeye steak was only $85.

Most of the people were just tourists.  There were a few homeless but nowhere near as many as in San Francisco. Some people in costumes like a Batman, Transformer, "fat" Spiderman, Mickey Mouse, and a few "Showgirls". All were asking for money to have pictures taken with them. We have seen people doing this before several times in different locations. We also saw the classic Vegas gambler. A man in a leisure suit and a shirt unbuttoned half way down.  Weird!
