The RV park we are staying in is called Mouse Mountain. Ok first there are no mountains in Florida no matter what people see in the background of TV shows and Movies that are supposed to be filmed in Florida but filmed in California. The RV park does sit on top of a very high spot or hill 5 miles directly south of Disney World. Last night we walked to the parks pool and watched the fireworks show. Far in the distance but visible. We could even see the castle but it was only a small white dot without binoculars.
The park is very old and was first opened in the early 70's. Lots of permanent trailers. We were put in a nice spot with concrete patio and parking spot. Overall pretty nice compared with some RV parks. We may stay here again if we come back down late in 2017. We did check spots that were as good as this one if it is not available then. The last day of the year we enjoyed the pool at the park. It was in the 70s so it helped that the pool was heated. Great time relaxing and enjoying the end of 2016. For the rest of the week we are expecting nice day temperatures with cool but not cold nights. We are not likely to need to AC or heater much if at all. We will not be able to enter the park till Tuesday because of block out dates on our annual pass. Today we are going to visit Disney Springs to get our bands. Springs is a shopping and restaurant so does not require any Disney Pass but if we get our bands early we will be ready to go on Tuesday.
