Well, that was an interesting drive down to Key West. It is a very unusual drive. Much of the drive is on bridges. I think everyone thinks the same thing about how thin some of the keys are where on a couple of the keys the road takes up more than half the width of the land. It was an amazing achievement building the Overseas Highway. Crossing 7-mile bridge is wild. At the start, the next island cannot be seen so it appears that the bridge just keeps going out to sea. Yea! Stock Island. Yes, I know we are not on Key West officially but there are no RV parks on Key West and the bridge between the two keys is about 200 feet long. After our setup, we decided to go to a local restaurant. Hog Fish Grill specializes in Hog fish, obviously, which is pretty ugly but good to eat. The fish taste and texture are very similar to Grouper. It gets its name from the appearance and that it roots around on the bottom which looks like a pig rooting in the ground. Our meal was great. Quirky is a standard in the Keys and just keeps ramping up as you approach Key West. More iguanas.
