There are several trails, and one makes a long loop almost around the entire park. It was a nice hike. It began as a nice walk along a river then inland through a pine forest.
Well, someone has quirky since of humor or is just really reluctant to throw things out.
At one point, we saw a few deer and then one of the "famous" white deer of which there are several in the park. Our pictures did not come out that well so I will include one taken at the campground by another camper.
There are also a few white squirrels. I guess being white is not as dangerous here as it would be other places. There is almost no way for a white squirrel to hide from predators.
We are a couple who have started on a new adventure...
