Shawna is exhausted and I am too.  We are working very hard every day to get as much done as we can.  It is emotionally and physically draining to clean someone's home after their death. So much we need to do before we are comfortable leaving Mom and coming back to Florida.

Our plan right now is to be back in town during the week of the 11th and stay in town for several days.  That could change to a bit later if Mom has more problems or the weather does not cooperate.  It is no fun towing if we have high winds.  It has been in the mid to upper 20's each night and rarely has gotten above 50 during the day.

A few days we had 40 mph winds. It is wide open here and the prairie winds are strong some days.  We have really pretty sunsets. The walk to the edge of the park looks out to the west over the lake. There is nothing to block the view of the horizon.

There are animals everywhere.  Rabbits run around the park almost anytime we take a walk.  There are a pair of doe mule deer who we see most nights.  They are not easily spooked and we have walked within 30 feet of them several times before they decide that we are just too close for comfort.  We have also seen Road Runners, raccoon, lots of doves, large coveys of quail, hawks...  Lots of wildlife.  It has been unusually wet the last few years and that has contributed to the higher number of animals.
